In recent weeks The Care Collective has had a name change (formerly the Carers Trust South East Wales), undertook a brand refresh (hope you like it!) and has now launched its new website (www.thecarecollective) as part of activities and events around Carers Week (6 – 12 June 2022).
The website will be further developed in the coming weeks and months to become the go-to place for unpaid carers and a valuable resource and information platform for all things related to unpaid carers.
The Chief Executive at The Carers Trust, Kieran Harris, said:
“We, at The Care Collective, have experienced a fair bit of change recently, from a new name, a refresh of our brand and now the launch of our new website. While we will continue to develop the site, I am particularly pleased that we were able to launch our new platform during Carers Week.
“A crucial function of the website is to become a valuable resource for all those unpaid carers that undertake so much valuable work. Importantly, we also want it to be a place where people can go to get a better understanding about unpaid carers, they work they do and perhaps discovering they too may be an unpaid carer.”
The website was designed by the Cardiff-based brand, graphic and web agency, designdough.
Joe Brown, Managing Director at designdough, added:
“We are truly honoured to have worked with The Care Collective to create a brand and website that not only champions unsung heroes, but gives them an opportunity to be recognised for their tremendous value and rightly feel supported in their care for a loved one.”
